Summer Kids in the Park (SKIP)

The City's free summer lunch and recreation program for youth runs Monday-Thursday at select parks.

Schedule and locations

June 24 - Aug. 15

• Activities run from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Mondays: Main City Park, lunch from noon - 12:30 pm
Tuesdays: Red Sunset Park, lunch from 11 - 11:30 am
Wednesdays: Neighbor's Park at Rockwood Village Apartments, lunch from 11 - 11:30 am
Thursdays: Bella Vista Park, lunch from noon - 12:30 pm.

Please note there is no SKIP on July 4 or on Fridays throughout the summer. Fridays are planning days for the YMCA.

About SKIP

• Free lunches and activities are available to all youth up to age 18.
• There is no cost to participate.
• No registration is required. 

Supervision and activities are provided. Parents and guardians are advised to stay at the park while youth are participating in SKIP; children younger than age 8 should not be left without supervision. 

SKIP lunches are provided through the Gresham-Barlow School District's summer lunch program.
