Public Meetings Law
The Oregon Legislative Assembly House Bill 2805gives the Oregon Government Ethics Commission (OGEC) the authority to enforce Oregon’s Public Meetings Law (ORS 192.610 to 192.705).
Potential Public Meetings Law Violation
If you believe members of City Council or a Community Advisory Group (including commissions, committees, or boards) violated Oregon Public Meetings Law, please submit a grievance.
A written grievance must be submitted to the public body at issue before you can file a complaint with OGEC. Please see the required steps, response requirements, and additional resources associated with Public Meetings Law Violations on the Oregon.gov website.
