Fire Cadets

  • Gresham Fire Cadets application

Gresham Fire Cadet Post 788 provides opportunity for motivated young men and women to develop leadership, teamwork and responsibility skills while exploring the firefighting profession.

Many former Cadets are now career firefighters or respond with volunteer fire agencies.

Once accepted into the program, Cadets are required to complete basic firefighting training per the State of Oregon Fire Standards and Accreditation Board. Once qualified, Cadets can respond to emergency calls in support roles and perform non-emergency tasks according to their training.
