Community Development and Housing Subcommittee
About the subcommittee
- Advises City Council on community development and housing goals, policies, programs and budgets.
- Makes recommendations for the City's federal Community Development Block Grant and HOME funds, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, to meet the needs of the city's low and moderate-income residents.
- Promotes greater public understanding of community development and housing matters for low- and moderate-income residents.

Meeting schedule
The committee meets as-needed approximately six times per year. Meetings take place in the City Hall Conference Center, as well as on Zoom.

The Community Development and Housing Subcommittee will hold applicant presentations with applicants for 2025-26 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership (HOME) funds. This meeting is informational only and no funding decisions will be made at this meeting.
