The City conducts random, mandatory inspections throughout the year on residential rental properties in Gresham.

Rental housing licenses
A rental housing license is required to maintain or operate a residential rental property in Gresham.
This applies to all residential rental units, including single-family homes, duplexes and apartments.
Fees
Council Resolution No. 3600 was passed on March 19, 2024. Rental license rates increased July 1, 2024.
Fees are based on the total number of rental units on a property.
