    Organize a National Night Out event in your Gresham neighborhood, or plan to attend one for fun.

    This event, celebrated around the U.S. in thousands of communities, helps make communities safe and raise awareness about anti-crime programs.

    National Night Out:

    • Heightens crime and drug prevention awareness.
    • Generates support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.
    • Strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships
    • Sends a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back

    Gresham celebrates National Night Out with:

    • Block parties
    • Cookouts
    • Visits from Police and Fire
    • Parades and exhibits
    • Flashlight walks
    • Contests
    • Youth programs
    • Traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils
