National Night Out
America's night out against crime
Tuesday, Aug. 6
Celebrated in Gresham and in thousands of communities around the U.S. National Night Out helps make communities safer by:
- Strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.
- Sending a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
- Raising crime and drug prevention awareness.
- Supporting local anti-crime programs.
Gresham Night Out event

5:30-8:30 pm
Location: Main City Park
Bring your family and invite your neighbors to celebrate Gresham's Night Out (National Night Out). Meet your elected officials and enjoy family-friendly activities. The City's Fire and Police departments will be on hand showing off some of their equipment and answering questions. Hosted by the City and your local first responders.
Activites include:
- Free ice cream floats
- Giant bubble show
- Face painting
- Yard games
