Block party and back-to-school resource fair

Join us in Downtown Rockwood for activities and entertainment the whole family will enjoy. The block party will take place Saturday Aug. 23, from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Join us at the Rockwood Market Hall for live music, free giveaways and fun activities. Stop by one of our partner booths and grab a drink or meal at one of the many Downtown Rockwood businesses.

The resource fair will include:

  • Free food
  • Back-to-school resources such as a backpack and school supply giveaways 
  • Free haircuts
  • Live music: 
    • DRECKIG 
    • Marcelo Guitron and Ian Love (of Family Mystic)
    • Mo Phillips
  • Kids activities such as face painting, a splash pad and more
  • Local businesses and community organizations
Location

Both the block party and resource fair will be held in Downtown Rockwood at 18535 SE Stark St. Get directions. 

A feature of this area is Rockwood Market Hall, a vibrant gathering space with restaurants, grocers, retailers and offices that surround a central community plaza.
