Recycle at Home
Sign up for weekly garbage day reminders at GoCart and never miss a pickup day again and look up where those hard-to-recycle items should go.
What Goes Where
Read the News to Reuse newsletter to learn more about recycling do's and don'ts. For the Curbside Recycling Guidelines and where to recycle year round, print the Curbside Recycling Guide page and put on your refrigerator as a reminder.
Collection Day Reminders
- Set out all containers and roll carts by 6 a.m. on collection day.
- Place containers within 3 feet of the curb and leave a space of 3 feet between carts.
- Place carts 10 feet from cars, mailboxes, basketball hoops, trees and other stationary objects, where possible.
- Remove carts and containers from curb within 24 hours, preferably the evening of pick-up day.
An apartment or multi-family is defined as a complex with five or more living units including condominiums and mobile home parks. Your weekly garbage and recycling collection is very similar to single-family, however, motor oil is not included.
