Budget Committee
About the committee
This committee consists of the Mayor, six Council members and the seven-member volunteer Finance Committee, who are citizens appointed by the City Council.
The Budget Committee has the legal authority to change any portion of the proposed budget and is responsible to pass the City's approved budget. Read more about the City's budget process.

Meeting schedule
The Budget Committee meets two or three times annually in April or May, via Zoom.
Meeting materials
A public meeting of the Gresham Budget Committee will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 6:00 pm, at which time the fiscal year 2025/26 budget document will be considered by the Budget Committee.

Public comments
Please note the process for providing public comments during virtual Budget Committee meetings.
- Written testimony: Must be received 24 hours in advance of the Budget Committee meeting to the Recording Secretary at Budget&Finance@GreshamOregon.gov.
- Oral testimony: If you plan to provide oral public testimony, you must register your name, email address, phone number and subject matter to the Recording Secretary by email to Budget&Finance@GreshamOregon.gov, 24 hours in advance of the Budget Committee meeting.
If you want to provide comments regarding the hearing on possible use of Oregon Revenue Sharing Funds, please submit separate testimony, following the same procedures as described above.
If you want to provide testimony and are unable to provide written comments in advance or are otherwise unable to access the meeting via Zoom, please notify the City 24 hours in advance of the meeting so we can provide alternate arrangements.
If you need translation services for this meeting, contact Alex Logue by 5:00 pm on Monday, April 14, 2025 at CommunityEngagement@GreshamOregon.gov. The City will do its best to accommodate all requests but may not be able to accommodate every language depending on interpreter availability.
