Budget adoption process

The
Gresham Redevelopment Commission Budget Committee (GRDCBC) holds a public meeting to consider and approve the
Gresham Redevelopment Commission (GRDC) proposed budget for the
Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal Area (URA) for the upcoming fiscal year, July 1 through June 30. Citizens have opportunity at the meeting to comment on the proposed budget before it is approved. Notice of the GRDCBC meeting is placed in The Gresham Outlook newspaper approximately one week before the meeting.
In June
The GRDC holds a public hearing to allow public testimony regarding the approved budget. At the end of the public hearing, the
GRDC passes of a resolution adopting the budget. Notice of the public hearing is placed in The Gresham Outlook newspaper approximately one week before the meeting.
Fiscal year 2022-23 budget process
On May 10, the GRDCBC approved the proposed fiscal year 2022-23 budget. The agenda packet and staff's presentation to the GRDCBC at the May 10 meeting are available on the GRDCBC page.
On June 21, the GRDC will hold a public hearing to allow public testimony regarding the approved budget. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the GRDC will pass a resolution adopting the budget. Complete details on meeting start time, how to attend, provide public testimony, and access the agenda materials will be available on the GRDC page approximately one week before the meeting.

On April 13, notice of the May 10 GRDCBC meeting ran in The Gresham Outlook newspaper. A second notice of the meeting ran in The Gresham Outlook on April 20.
