Gresham residents can climb for free at Rock Haven Climbing Gym on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 9:00 am-9:00 pm.
This is an opportunity for everyone to try out a new indoor recreation and stay active throughout the year.
Rock Haven requires all participants and observers to sign a waiver upon arrival, or use the online waiver.Children under 18 must have a guardian's signature.

At the gym, new participants will check in, get their free rental shoes and chalk and be ready to climb. Rock Haven reserves the right to ask for ID at entry to verify the free climb registration.

Middle school and high school youth can attend free basketball practice, skill building and game play on Friday and Saturday nights in Gresham.
Registration and waiver are required.

Gresham Parks and Recreation partners with PlayEast to offer youth recreation opportunities at locations in Gresham for a fee.
Examples of activities include Legos, basketball and soccer, parkour, art and more.

Gresham residents may register for any class or activity.
Classes are fee-based, but scholarships are available for those in need.

Put on your dancing shoes and head to the Gresham Senior Center for the Tuesday Night Dance featuring the live band "Pipeliners" from 5:30-7:30 pm. Admission is $6 per person.

The Portland Activities and Athletic League (PAAL) is offering a SAQ (speed, agility and quickness) class for all ages.

During "Rock Haven Teen Nights," on the first and third Saturdays of the month, Gresham teens ages 13-18 can climb for free from 6:00-9:00 pm at Rock Haven Climbing Gym.

The Portland Activities and Athletic League (PAAL) is offering free youth boxing. This class is available to youth grades 6-12. The PAAL Boxing program includes non-contact or contact boxing, fitness cardio, range of motion, improved strength, sequenced movements, hand/eye exercises and more.

Kids can play in two fountains - one designed for toddlers, one for bigger kids - that are powered by jets of cool, clean, chlorinated water. The Children's Fountain is open from May to September at the Gresham Arts Plaza401 NE Second St.
Kids can cool off in the splash pad from 8:00 am-9:00 pm daily from May to September. Located on the Downtown Rockwood Plaza in front of the Rockwood Market Hall, 458 SE 185th Ave.
Gresham's parks system includes more than 300 acres of park land, 840 acres of natural areas and several miles of trails.
The Gresham Senior Center, 600 NE Eighth St., offers recreation, education, health and social programs serving seniors.
