September 15, 2022

The Gresham Police Department will host its first Dog Days of Summer event on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11:00 am-2:00 pm outside Gresham City Hall, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway.

This free community event will host K-9 units from around the metro area including Gresham, Oregon City, Milwaukie, Gladstone, and Multnomah County. Working K-9’s and their handlers will showcase their talents through a series of live training sessions.

Community members will also be able to meet Tagg, the Gresham Police Department’s comfort dog, as well as furry friends from local Guide Dogs for the Blind organization. Kona Ice and several local dog-friendly businesses will be on site selling pup products too.

Dog Days of Summer is a free community event for the whole family to enjoy. Friendly dogs (leashed) are welcome, too! We look forward to seeing everyone.
