City Hall closed to walk-in customers; still providing services

March 16, 2020

Out of concern for our customers and staff, Gresham City Hall at 1333 NW Eastman Parkway will be closed to walk-in customers starting Tuesday, March 17, until further notice. This closure ensures the City is doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 and lessen the impact to our health care system.

City employees are being encouraged to work remotely; essential services such as Police and Fire will continue to serve the public. We are committed to providing excellent customer service during this unprecedented time. Services that are impacted include the following

On March 12, the City declared a state of emergency, a pre-emptive measure designed to ensure access to regional, state and federal resources when they might be needed. Several large events have been canceled or postponed, and non-essential citizen advisory committee meetings have also been canceled. A full list of canceled or postponed events can be found at

Today, the City partially activated their Emergency Operations Center to continue to coordinate resources and responses to COVID-19. Leadership will continue to meet daily to plan for providing essential services while ensuring the safety of the public and our workforce. Regular updates to the community will be available on as well as the City’s social media channels as this situation continues to evolve.
