Gresham Sanitary Service

Gresham Sanitary Service is available for local medical sharps drop-off. Disposal is offered at City-established rates.

• Three or less personal sized sharps containers: Visit Gresham Sanitary Service's website to check drop-off times.
• Larger quantities or to drop off medical waste: Call 503-665-2424 to schedule an appointment. 

Metro

• Metro transfer stations take sharps containers at no cost. Visit Metro and find a recycler
• Neighborhood collection events take sharps containers at no cost. Find a collection event or call Metro at 503-234-3000.

The Oregon Drug Take Back Program offers free medication drop-off at participating sites. Find a drop-off location or call 844-482-5322.

Curbside residential customers can place motor oil in a clear one-gallon jug with a screw-on lid and put it next to the glass bin. Do not mix the oil with other chemicals or fluids.
