    The Gresham Arts Festival is a juried event. Spaces are limited in each particular medium. Artists are encouraged to apply early.

    Donate a piece of your art for our charitable silent auction. 

    On Friday, July 14, the City will host an artist reception and silent auction, with proceeds to benefit Gresham Outdoor Public Art. Donations are optional, but we strongly encourage all artists to donate an item–it helps raise money to encourage art in the community, and it gives the public an opportunity to preview your work. Donations may be grouped together to raise maximum funds; all artists donating will receive recognition.

    Step 3: Submit Photos (three of your artwork; one of your booth)

    This step is mandatory. Please read the following information carefully.

    Note: You must submit your photos separately by email  (with your name/Jury Photos in the subject line) to

    1. Please note: quality photos that showcase your work are critical to the success of your application. Photos play a large role in jury deliberations.
    2. All images must be in .jpg file format with medium compression. Submit three color images of your artwork and one of your booth. Images must accurately represent your work at the show and should NOT be photos previously submitted to the Gresham Arts Festival.
    3. Images should be no larger than 1024 x 768 pixels. You may be asked for high-resolution photos as needed.
    4. Image #4 should be of your booth setup. If you do not have an image of your booth, please provide an image of a grouping of your body of work to give an idea of how you will present your work at the show. This image is mandatory. The booth shot helps jurors determine the quality of each artist's presentation and helps identify the scale of artists' work. Note: This is a blind jury process. Please do not include images with any identifiable sign, customers, website address or the artist. The image of your booth space assists the jury in decisions where spaces are limited, especially pertaining to media type.
    5. Name your photo files as "Last name, First letter of first name, photo number" (for example: for John Doe, the file names would be DoeJ01, DoeJ02, DoeJ03, DoeJBooth).

    Step 4: Submit Your Application


    We've made a few changes this year to the deadlines. For those artists who want an earlier decision about their booth, we've set up a priority deadline of March 1. Submitting by the earlier deadline does not guarantee a particular booth space or placement.

    Note: While the jury's goal will be to provide "yes" or "no" feedback on the majority of artist applications as quickly as possible, for some applications they may reserve the right to hold decisions until viewing all applications submitted.
