Councilor Dina DiNucci

  • Term of Office: January 2021 to December 2024

    Councilor Dina DiNucciCouncilor Dina DiNucci was elected to a four-year term for Council Position 1 on Nov. 3, 2020, and sworn into office on Jan. 5, 2021.

     Councilor DiNucci bought her first home as a single mother with two children in 1999 in west Gresham and remains there to this day.

    She began volunteering to engage and improve the area by spearheading new initiatives and community events (e.g., Rockwood Business Coalition, Rock Soup), building friendships and assisting local residents.

    In 2007, Councilor DiNucci opened Park Place Coffee with the dream of creating a place for neighbors to gather and connect. She learned a new appreciation of the struggles small business owners face in Gresham.

    She has served as Neighborhood Restoration Chair for the federal Weed-and-Seed program in west Gresham and mentored OHSU nursing students in “becoming community competent” while working on many projects throughout the Gresham community.

    Councilor DiNucci was employed with the City of Gresham's Department of Environmental Services from 1992 to 2002. She managed community outreach and operations for nonprofits serving the Gresham community over many years. She currently works for Multnomah County.

    Councilor DiNucci believes the Council can make better decisions through prioritizing communication with our residents.

    “As Gresham’s demographics change, so should the vision on how to cultivate relationships with our residents and incorporate their diverse perspectives. As a City Councilor, I believe we can create lasting solutions by ensuring that residents' voices inform our City policy.”
