Background
The City of Gresham, City of Portland and Multnomah County (the consortium) seeks public comment to shape funding priorities outlined in annual action plans. The action plans are part of a five-year consolidated plan (2021-2025) detailing the consortium’s plans for federal grant funds received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The City is required to submit an application for funding every year.
Funds come from:
The CDBG and HOME programs invest over $1.2 million in federal grants and loans annually in local non-profit organizations and other groups to provide services, public facilities, and affordable housing for low and moderate-income residents and neighborhoods.
