Multnomah County Library
Gresham is home to two branches of the award-winning Multnomah County Library system:
The Multnomah County Library is the oldest public library system west of the Mississippi and serves nearly one-fifth of the state’s population. The entire library system is home to a collection with two million books and other materials. The library system also features 480 computer stations for public use.
Mt. Hood Community College
In addition to students, faculty and staff the Mt. Hood Community College Library and Learning Resource Center located at 26000 S.E. Stark is open to the general public. The Library offers computers for research use, high-speed Internet access, a wireless network, more than 50,000 books, extensive print and online periodicals, and more than 50 research databases. Individuals that live within the college’s service district may borrow materials if they apply for a public borrower card.
