Basic Mediation Training

Are you interested in becoming a mediator? Volunteering with East Metro Mediation? Or want to learn new skills that can help you improve your community? Then sign up for East Metro Mediation's Basic Mediation Training Course. Applications are due January 16, 2015, and scholarships are available!
Mediators are trained to help resolve conflict situations. Being a mediator is rewarding and knowing how to work through issues and conflict is a great skill to have. East Metro Mediation offers training to people interested in learning the conflict resolution skills necessary to resolve many different problems.
The tools learned in this 42-hour course are useful in work groups, businesses, neighborhoods and families. The training includes working with people individually over the phone, and in face to face meeting situations. This course is required for volunteer mediators at East Metro Mediation.
People of all ages, ethnicity and backgrounds are welcome. People who are bilingual (Spanish or Russian and English) are encouraged to apply.
