Public Safety Committee
The Public Safety Committee advises Council on matters related to public safety, including police, fire and life safety, with a goal for Gresham to become one of the safest cities in the state. The Public Safety Committee:
- Reviews and studies various aspects of public safety to make informed recommendations
- Assists Council in evaluating the public’s expectations for public safety
- Assists in the design and implementation of public education and awareness programs
- Evaluates performance measures and outcomes related to public safety
