Budget Committee

This volunteer committee consists of the Mayor, six Council members, and the seven member Finance Committee who are citizens appointed by the City Council.  The Budget Committee has the legal authority to change any portion of the proposed budget and is responsible to pass the City's approved budget.

Budget Committee meetings take place annually, usually in April, in the City Hall Conference Center.

All meetings are held at the City Hall Conference Center and begin at 6:30 p.m

April 13    Budget Hearings Kickoff and budget message presented by the City Manager

April 21    Central Support Funds, Non-operating and Special Revenue Funds

April 27     General Fund and Business Funds

April 29    Urban Renewal GRDC Budget Committee (prior to Gresham's budget meeting)

April 29    Infrastructure Funds, CIP, Urban Renwal (Gresham's side), wrap-up and approve budget
