Free CityFest event features big rigs, passports and family fun

Join us for a festival of fun at City Hall on September 8, from noon to 4 p.m., featuring big trucks, police and fire vehicles, delicious local food and treats, and more. Pick up an event passport at the welcome booth and fill it out to be entered to win a $100 gift card bouquet!

This free, hands-on family event includes:

  • Passport Day: Renew or update your passport between 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Check out our big rigs—climb, explore and discover how they work.
  • Mini ride-alongs with our Gresham Police officers. Watch our K-9 Unit in action and visit with the many divisions that make up our Gresham Police Department.
  • Emergency three-gallon water bottles for sale for only $5.
  • Visit with our Neighborhoods team about the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program, tour the new Block Party Trailer, and learn how it can come party with you on your block.
  • Pop-up park and games.
  • Tour fire engines, meet Sparky the fire dog and our wonderful crew, and watch an auto extrication demonstration.
  • Come build your future parks with our giant Legoland activity.
  • Local food for sale from Bent Whisker Sandwich Co. and Tortilleria Y Tienda De Leon’s. Sweet treats from Kona Ice. Free popcorn.
