Mt. Hood National Forest
Less than 20 miles from Gresham is the Mt. Hood National Forest, home to over 1 million acres of forest and outdoor recreation opportunities.
Located near the center of the National Forest is Oregon’s highest peak, Mt. Hood, standing at 11,237 feet above sea level. The mountain and its immediate surroundings feature year-round skiing, hundreds of miles of hiking trails, camping, and other recreation options.
