Draft Stormwater Annual Report Available for Review

The draft annual stormwater reports for the cities of Gresham and Fairview are available for public review and comment through Oct. 25.
In Gresham and Fairview the stormwater (water runoff) system is separate from the sewer system and drains to creeks, wetlands and groundwater without treatment through Gresham’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The reports describe the programs and activities – from water quality monitoring to spill response – that are conducted by each city in order to comply with federal and state water quality requirements for local streams.
Each city conducts its own program except for water quality monitoring services, which Gresham conducts on behalf of the City of Fairview through an intergovernmental agreement.
Comments for both reports are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.
