On February 12, 2010 at 9:47 pm Gresham Police were dispatched to shots being fired at the M & M Restaurant & Lounge, 137 N. Main. Upon arrival Police found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two were pronounced dead at the scene and two were transported to area hospitals in critical condition. Investigation reveals the sequence of events as we have come to understand them.
JEFFREY GRAHN 46 years old of Boring & a Clackamas County Sheriff’s Sergeant walked into the M & M looking to confront his wife, CHARLOTTE GRAHN 47 years old also of Boring. An argument ensued inside the bar. CHARLOTTE and JEFFREY then went outside to the parking lot where JEFFREY shot her.
JEFFREY then walked back into the bar shooting VICTORIA SCHULMERICH 53 years old of Gresham and KATHLEEN HOFFMEISTER 53 years old of Gresham. JEFFREY then walked back outside, where he had left CHARLOTTE, and committed suicide.
Deceased at the scene were JEFFREY GRAHN and KATHLEEN HOFFMEISTER. CHARLOTTE was pronounced dead the next day at the hospital. VICTORIA is still listed in Critical Condition. This whole incident appears to be related to Domestic Violence issues between the GRAHN’s.
