The work of the Council Citizen Advisory Committees (CCACs) is primarily derived from the Council Work Plan.

Board members are appointed by the Gresham City Council unless otherwise noted in Chapter 2 of the Gresham Revised Code (GRC). For more information on CCACs contact the Council Coordinator at 503-618-2871.

Task forces/short-term committees

Gresham Community Center Task Force

The Community Center Task Force (CCTF) will build on the most popular idea submitted through the Rise Advance Dream (“RAD”) Gresham community outreach effort: to bring a community center to Gresham. The Task Force will determine the community priorities for a community center including its program offerings, amenities and options for ongoing maintenance and operations.

The application deadline is Friday, May 13, 2016 at 5 p.m.

The City is looking for qualified applicants with a variety of skills and a committed interest in serving our community. If you are a Gresham resident, please consider applying.

Gresham Redevelopment Commission Citizen Advisory Committee (GRDCAC)

In addition to these committees, the GRDCAC has openings for a representative from the City of Gresham's Community Development and Housing Subcommittee, a representative from the City of Gresham's Planning Commission, and a Rockwood-West Gresham Business Owner at Large. When possible, candidates who are residents of the Rockwood-West Gresham Urban Renewal Area shall receive preference in appointment.
